Application

Hyodeoxycholic acid is indicated for type la and lb hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, cholangitis, cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, and non - obstructive cholestasis. It can accelerate the excretion of gallbladder contrast agents from the liver.

It promotes intestinal fat decomposition and fat - soluble vitamin absorption, treating indigestion from liver and gallbladder diseases. As an anti -inflammatory, it's used for chronic

bronchitis and pediatric viral respiratory inflammation. However, it may cause gastrointestinal discomfort and mild diarrhea. It serves as a raw material for gallstone medications,

ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) synthesis, and artificial bezoar production. Additionally, it lowers blood cholesterol, helping to treat and prevent coronary heart disease and hypertension.
